Exciting News: Prabhas Unveils First Look for “Project K” Ahead of San Diego Comic-Con Premiere

Yesterday, the producers unveiled Prabhas’ first look ahead of the Project K premiere at San Diego Comic-Con. Prabhas co-stars in the movie, which is based on the epic science-fiction saga “Nag Ashwin,” alongside Amitabh Bachchan, Deepika Padukone, Kamal Haasan, and Disha Patani. The first image, which was shared on the Vyjayanthi Movies’ official Instagram account, shows Prabhas in a dominant stance.

First Glimpse Look Rebel Star Prabhas

In the first look poster, Prabhas can be seen dressed as a superhero, his fist on the ground, and an intense expression on his face. His alluring image is further enhanced by the lengthy hair and beard he is sporting. The tweet’s opening sentence stated, “The hero rises. Now the game alters (fire emoticon). This is Project K’s Rebel Star. July 20 (US) and July 21 (India) marked the first views.

The first Indian movie to be shown at San Diego Comic-Con (SDCC) in 2023 is expected to be Project K. Before then, a Project K billboard reading “First Glimpse on July 20” was spotted in Times Square. On Monday, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas’ co-star in the movie, also debuted her first look. Before SDCC 2023, Prabhas and Rana Daggubati both landed in the US.

The two actors, who previously appeared together in Baahubali, can be seen confronting “Hollywood” emblazoned on a signboard in the background of a photo shared by Vyjayanthi Movies. Wearing “Project K” t-shirts, both are visible.

On the Project K team at Comic-Con, Deepika Padukone, Prabhas, and Kamal Haasan will explain the scenario. At the Comic-Con event, the Project K team will reveal the movie’s title, trailer, and release date. Vyjayanthi Movies has created the bilingual science fiction movie Project K. The SDCC runs from July 20 to July 23.

Variety reports that a secret piece of video will be revealed during the movie celebration. On July 19, in connection with the opening night celebration at Vyjayanthi Movies, a fan screening will take place. On July 20, a panel titled “This Is Project K: A Mytho-Science-Fai Epic of India” will be moderated by the film’s production team, and its cast will be present for the SDCC presentation.


Nag Ashwin said in a speech honoring the occasion, “India is home to some of the greatest stories and superheroes ever written.” We feel that our movie is an attempt to communicate our story with a global audience, so the Comic-Con is the perfect place for us to do so.

Project K will be made available in Telugu, Hindi, Tamil, Malayalam, Kannada, and English on January 12, 2024.
